Make New Book Buddies

Bookstagram is full of genuine people who genuinely enjoy books just as much, if not more, than you. They don’t care about the algorithm, they don’t care about politics. They only care about posting their perfectly posed chapter with a cup of coffee and talking spoilers. And I’m here for it.

It’s honestly refreshing to have real conversations with real people that aren’t full of fake fluff, online bullying, or constant trolls. The people who land in your DMS aren’t trying to sell you anything (most of the time), they’re just honestly looking for that book review, man.

Grow Your TBR

Bookstagram is a really great place to learn about new books. Whether it’s an up and coming release from your favorite (or a new) author, or it’s an old classic that hasn’t made its way to your shelf yet. 

Seeing what everyone else is reading and recommending is a great way to get you excited about books to add to your list this year, and you can also share your best recommendations (or books you read and left behind).

Bookish Fun

It’s just plain fun. Who wouldn’t want to curate an entire feed to BOOKS? It’s a serious question because I can’t fathom anyone wouldn’t want to spend their free time styling, arranging, crafting, and photographing books.

First, decide what you want your handle to be. You can make your name a fun bookish pun, or keep it simple with something like @natashareads
